Usage

Ideal for general construction, landscaping, paving, drainage, rendering, and backfilling. Suitable for leveling pavers, filling joints, soil conditioning, and decorative displays. Can be mixed with cement for mortar, concrete, and custom sand mixes.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • For Landscaping/Backfilling: Clear the area of large debris, rocks, and organic material. Level the soil as needed to ensure an even surface and proper drainage before applying the sand.

  • For Soil Conditioning: Ensure the soil is loose and not compacted. If overly clay-heavy or waterlogged, clear any obstructions and lightly loosen the soil to improve sand integration.

  • For Paving/Leveling: Clean the surface, ensuring it's dry and free from debris, weeds, or loose material. For areas prone to weeds, consider using a weed barrier fabric. Compact the base material for a stable, even surface before applying the sand.

APPLICATION

  • For Landscaping/Backfilling: Spread the sand evenly over the prepared area, rake to the desired depth, and compact if needed to ensure stability and prevent shifting.

  • For Soil Conditioning: Mix the sand evenly into the soil to improve drainage and aeration. Rake or till to integrate thoroughly for better soil structure.

  • For Paving/Leveling: Spread the sand evenly over the prepared base, level using a screed or board, and compact before placing pavers or bricks.

  • For Mixing: Combine the sand with cement and water in the appropriate ratios to create concrete or mortar. Mix until a smooth, workable consistency is achieved.
