Sable Marco® Crushed Stone is a high-quality natural crushed stone, available in multiple gradations including 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", and 0-3/4". Its angular shape provides excellent compaction and load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for use as a base material under driveways and walkways, for landscaping applications, and for drainage or custom concrete mixes.

Usage

Sable Marco® Crushed Stone is suitable for use as a base material under driveways and walkways, providing good drainage and compaction. It is also used for landscaping applications, including garden beds, pathways, and around patios, or combined with cement and sand to produce custom concrete mixes.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep bags sealed to prevent moisture exposure and surface discoloration. Avoid contact with soil or debris.

Sable Marco® Crushed Stone is available in 4 size options:

  

  • Fine: 1/4" (6 mm) 
  • Medium: 1/2" (12 mm)

Application

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Base applications: Under driveways, walkways, or similar surfaces, excavate and level the area to the desired depth, ensuring the subgrade is compacted and free of debris. Spread Sable Marco® Crushed Stone evenly to the required thickness and compact with a plate compactor or roller, repeating in layers if necessary to achieve a stable, load-bearing base.

  

  • Landscaping applications: For garden beds, pathways, or around patios, ensure the area is clean and free from debris, weeds, or other obstructions. Spread and level Sable Marco® Crushed Stone to the desired depth, using a rake or shovel to distribute evenly and shape the surface. Compact the stones if needed to ensure they remain in place.

  

  • Custom concrete mixes: Combine Sable Marco® Crushed Stone with cement and sand according to the required proportions to produce custom concrete mixes.
